Acquisition expands Winters Bros.’ Operations on Long Island
West Babylon, NY – Nov. 1, 2016 – Winters Bros. Waste Systems announced today that it has purchased the assets of Leteri Waste Management with operations based in Kings Park, NY. Anthony Leteri, owner of Leteri Waste Management will assist with the transition to Winters Bros. and later retire. Angelo Leteri, will join the Winters Bros. Team in a management roll.

Waste Systems. “We are continuously working to make sure our customers receive the highest level of customer service. The Leteri family has served customers on Long Island for more than 40 years. They can be proud of the company they built over time. Winters will continue to service their customers and operate the recycling center in Kings Park.”

The acquisition of Leteri will allow us to process even more material resulting in more opportunities to recycle on Long Island.”
In addition to providing solid waste collection and recycling services, Winters Bros. operates 12 transfer stations and recycling centers (7 on Long Island, 4 in Connecticut and 1 in Westchester County). Winters Bros. also provides innovative waste and recycling solutions to customers who are looking to preserve and protect Long Island’s natural resources.
